  • A 1 hour radius from Fremont Michigan is roughly to Grand Rapids (south of us), Ludington (to the north),  Edmore (to the east), and Lake Michigan (to the west). But give us a call if you aren't sure of our delivery radius. We will Deliver further if the rental timeframe is long enough.​

• Do you deliver pontoon boats to the Muskegon River?

  • yes as long as there is a public boat launch ramp​

• Do I need to be present at the public boat launch when the boat is delivered?

  • The person that booked the rental must be present when we deliver the boat.​

• Can you deliver a rental boat to a private dock at a vacation rental?

  • We can only deliver to a lake if it has a public access boat ramp​

• Does the delivery include the boat being launched and ready in the water?

  • Yes our professional delivery team backs the fully fueled boat into the water so there is no stress on your end.​

• What time does Lake Life Rentals typically deliver boats in the morning?

  • Our typical delivery time is 9am​

• How do I coordinate the pick-up time at the end of my rental?

  • Half day rentals will be picked up at 1pm, full day rentals will be picked up at 6pm. ​

• Do you deliver to Hardy Pond or Croton Pond?

  • Yes those are 2 very popular boating destinations​

• Is there a minimum rental duration for delivery (e.g., 2-day minimum)?

  • No, we have half day, full days, and multi day rental options. We offer a discount the longer you rent the boat.​

• What happens if the public boat launch is full when you arrive to deliver?

  • Our team arrives early to prep the boat and to get in line, so we are generally able to launch right at 9am.​

• Can you deliver to lakes in Oceana, Muskegon, or Kent counties?

  • yes we deliver to any lake within 1 hour of Fremont, Michigan with a public boat ramp. That includes, Oceana, Muskegon, and Kent counties.​

• What is the minimum age to rent a boat from Lake Life Rentals?

  • 21 Years old to rent a pontoon boat​

• Does Michigan require a boater safety certificate for operators under 27?

  • Yes Michigan requires a boater safety license if under the age of 27​

• Where can I take the Michigan boater safety course online?

• Is a security deposit required to book a pontoon?

  • Yes a $500 security deposit will be held up to 48 hours after the boat is returned for us to do an inspection.​

• What is your cancellation policy for inclement weather?

  • If the weather isn't cooperating, we’ll gladly help you rebook for free.​

• Can I change my delivery lake after I’ve already booked?

  • Yes as long as its not within 48 hours of your reservation, we will be happy to make changes.​

• Do you offer multi-day or weekly rental discounts?

  • Yes, the longer you rent the pontoon boat from us, the cheaper it gets!​

• What documents do I need to show the driver upon delivery?

  • We just nee the person who booked the reservation to be present with a valid ID at time of delivery.​

• Is fuel included in the rental price, or is the boat delivered full and I pay to refill?

  • We pride ourselves on being a full service rental company. Included in the rental price is a full fuel tank and delivery. No need to fill up when the reservation is complete.​

• How do I pay for the rental (Credit Card, Cash, etc.)?

  • You can pay for the rental on our website RentTheLakeLife.com using any popular credit card.​

• How many people can fit on your largest pontoon rental?

  • 12 People can fit on our Tritoon boat rental.​

• Are life jackets for kids and adults included with the delivery?

  • Yes all people on board will have the correct size life jacket.​

• Do your pontoons have Bluetooth speakers for music?

  • Yes, all of our rental boats have bluetooth speakers!​

• Is there a Bimini top or canopy for shade on the boat?

  • Yes, all of our boats have a retractable canopy to block out the sun.​

• Do the boats come with an anchor and dock lines?

  • Yes, all of our rentals have anchors and dock lines so you can tie up anywhere.​

• Are there swim ladders on the pontoons for easy water access?

  • Yes at the back of our boats, there are swim ladders to get in and out of the water.​

• Do you provide a map or depth information for the lake I choose?

  • We do not provide any technical specs about the lake you are boating on. Most of that info can be found online.​

• Can I rent a tube, lily pad, or floating mat with the boat?

  • You can rent stand up paddleboards, or a floating hammock to make your rental experience more entertaining.

• Are your boats equipped with GPS or depth finders?

  • Yes, some of our boats have depth finders and GPS. Give us a call before you book to make sure we are setting you up with the right boat.​

• Is there a cooler on board, or should I bring my own?

  • We offer coolers and ice to add to your reservation if you didnt want to bring your own.​

 

Rules & Activities

• Are pets (dogs) allowed on Lake Life Rentals’ boats?

  • As much as we love our 4 legged friends, they are not allowed on the boats. This policy ensures the upholstery and flooring remain in the best possible shape.​

• Can we tow a tube or skier behind the pontoon?

• Is fishing allowed on the rental boats?

  • Yes, our pontoon rentals have a "live" well at the back to hold your fish. We also offer fishing poles to rent if you dont want to bring yours along.​

• Can we bring alcohol on the boat (for passengers)?

  • Alcohol is not permitted on the boat.​

• Are there any restrictions on night boating with your rentals?

  • For the safety of our renters and our boats we do not allow boating after dark.​

• What is the cleaning fee if the boat is returned excessively dirty?

  • If the boat comes back excessively dirty, a $200 cleaning fee will be charged to your card.​

• Can I use the boat on Lake Michigan, or is it for inland lakes only?

  • Our boats are for inland lakes only. Lake Michigan can get extremely rough and dangerous.​

• What should I do if the boat has a mechanical issue on a remote lake?

  • If there are any issues or questions at anytime during your rental, call us immediately and we will help.​

• Is smoking allowed on the rental pontoons?

  • Smoking of any kind is not allowed on our rentals.​

• Are we allowed to grill on the boat?

  • Grilling is not allowed on our rentals​
